Bio Statement  

Ernesto D. R. Santibanez Gonzalez received the Ph.D. degree with concentration in operations research and management from the Coppe UFRJ, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Industrial Engineering, University of Talca, Curicó, Chile. His research interests include operational research and analytics, sustainability, climate change, decision support systems, operations management, energy efficiency, low carbon economy, carbon capture and storage, smart cities, supply chains, logistics, and manufacturing.
