The Special Issue Metaverse in Digital Education is devoted to the emerging theoretical, methodological, and applied foundations of metaverse-enabled educational ecosystems. It aims to bring together high-quality contributions examining how generative artificial intelligence, immersive environments, digital twins, and intelligent interactive systems are reshaping the evolution of education across formal, non-formal, and lifelong learning contexts.
