Special Issue Information
In order to move towards a sustainable future, innovative solutions that combine environmental conservation with prosperity and societal development must be adopted. The combination of new technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), green finance, and digitization has been contributing to the creation of innovative pathways that allow for sustainable development and inclusive progress. In light of the efforts being made by governments, organizations, and communities around the world to achieve climate targets and SDGs, it is crucial to understand their importance. This special issue focuses on the contribution of AI, new technologies, green finance, and innovation to the emergence of a green economy through sustainable social development. The goal of this Special Issue is to create a multidisciplinary discussion on issues concerning the use of AI, technologies, green finance, and innovation in relation to sustainable development. Researchers, policymakers, and experts are invited to explore the potential of such tools in terms of supporting sustainability in different fields. The Special Issue invites papers on various areas of research, such as sustainability solutions facilitated by AI, green financing, and ESG investing, sustainable digital transformation, smart cities, renewable energy uptake, circular economy approaches, sustainable consumption and production, climate change resilience, green entrepreneurship, and governance mechanisms for sustainable development. Studies examining the sociological aspects of technological change, such as inclusive growth, employment, education, and community wellbeing, are also very welcome. Through the exchange of ideas, experiences, and research findings from different fields, it is hoped that the Special Issue will contribute to a better understanding of the relationship between technology, innovation, and sustainable finance for a greener, more inclusive, and socially sustainable future.
We welcome a diversity of articles, such as conceptual and empirical articles, reviews, critical comments, and meta-analyses, for submission to this Special Issue. We will accept manuscripts from different disciplines, addressing topics related to the scope.
