We are delighted to share the excellent news that our journal Sustainable Social Development has officially been accepted for inclusion in Scopus! This milestone follows the positive evaluation result we received from Scopus on 27 October 2025.

It is with deep regret that we announce the cancellation of the Forum on Sustainable Social Development & Computing and Artificial Intelligence, originally scheduled for June 15, 2025.

We are pleased to invite Dr. Jiabo Yin to join the Editorial Board of the journal Sustainable Social Development (eISSN: 2972-4880). This is the second year that Sustainable Social Development has been published. We are confident that the contribution of Dr. Jiabo Yin to the journal will bring new vigor to the study of sustainable development in earth science-related fields.

In Volume 2, Issue 1 of this journal, we published an article entitled “A survey of sustainable development of intelligent transportation system based on urban travel demand”, which is authored by Hongyu Yan and Zhiqiang Lv from Qingdao University, China.

Sustainable Social Development obtained its eISSN, 2972-4880. All articles will be published immediately upon acceptance and assigned a DOI after being published.

The publication frequency of this journal is set to be bi-monthly. We welcome high-quality and insightful submissions from scholars.

We are proud to announce that the first issue of Sustainable Social Development is online. This issue contains 1 editorial, 7 articles, and 1 brief commentary. We would like to extend our gratitude to all the authors, editors and reviewers.

Sustainable development, which involves the coordinated development of economy, society, resources and environmental protection, is of vital importance to humankind. We have decided to create a journal entitled Sustainable Social Development, which aims to provide a platform for scholars engaged in sustainable development research around the world to exchange their research findings.
